MacFarland Painting Merges with Apex Painting

July 2025

By: MacFarland Painting

July 15, 2025

We’re excited to share that Apex Painting has officially joined MacFarland Painting! This partnership brings together two trusted companies with one shared goal: to provide reliable, high-quality painting services with even more availability, support, and coverage! Apex Painting has built a strong reputation in Hillsdale and the surrounding areas, and we’re proud to welcome them to the MacFarland team.

When we first met Apex’s owner, Lauren Fink, at a PCA event, we instantly felt a connection. She was one of the few painting professionals we’d met whose company shared the same values and goals as ours. From her hands-on leadership to the focus on training, safety, and doing things the right way, it felt like we were already on the same team. This merger isn’t about taking over. It’s about bringing together two strong companies to do even better work—together.

What Customers Can Expect

If you’re an Apex Painting customer, rest assured, nothing is changing. You’ll still work with the same trusted team, receive the same five-star service, and have your projects completed with the same high standards and attention to detail.

To keep things simple and familiar, we’ll continue using the Apex Painting name in the Hillsdale area for now. Behind the scenes, though, we’re combining our teams and resources to bring you even more services, faster scheduling, and stronger support than ever before.

Here’s what this means for you:

  • Faster scheduling

  • More painting services

  • Same trusted team

Lauren Fink, owner of Apex Painting.

We’re also excited to share that Lauren Fink, owner of Apex Painting, is staying on with MacFarland Painting. Since starting up Apex in 2021, Lauren has become a well-known and trusted name in the community. She’s led her team with care, built strong relationships with local homeowners and businesses, and earned over 100 five-star reviews along the way.

As part of this merger, Lauren is stepping into a new role as Sales Representative for Hillsdale, Jackson, Branch, and Lenawee Counties. She’ll still be based out of the Hillsdale shop and will continue meeting with customers in person, helping them plan and schedule their painting projects, just like she always has. The only difference now is that she’s backed by the full MacFarland Painting team and resources!

If you live in Hillsdale, Jackson, Branch, or Lenawee County and are thinking about a painting project, interior, exterior, or something in between, Lauren would be happy to come out and give you a free quote.
